Leesburg Saturday Morning Market
The Farmers Market is held
every Saturday starting October 4,
2008 to May 30, 2009 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm on Towne Square, in Historic
Downtown Leesburg. (Closed April 25, 2009 Bikefest Weekend)
Experience a multitude of vendors who sell produce,
plants & flowers, cooked and prepared specialty foods such as: fish, meat,
cheese, eggs, bakery items, jellies & jams, honey, nuts, coffee, ethnic foods.
These products vary from week to week, so there is always something new. Also
enjoy live entertainment from local talent. The

The Great! Scare Crow Build-Off
Saturday October 4, 2008. The fun begins at 9 am until 1 pm on Towne Square in Historic
Downtown Leesburg. $20 entry fee includes materials. Everyone is invited to
compete for the Scariest, Most Creative or Cutest Trophies. Scare Crows will be
on Display down Main Street Thru November 1st.

Venetian Gardens Light Up
Held annually in Venetian Gardens, Light-up Ceremony Saturday, November 29, 2008
at 6:00 pm then opens nightly through January 1, 2009. Drive or walk through on
of Lake County’s largest holiday display featuring over 500,000 mini lights and
Holiday displays.

The Leesburg Main Street Christmas Parade
Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 6:00 pm. in
Historic Downtown Leesburg. The Holiday
Parade features marching bands, twirler and dance groups and lighted floats.
The parade route is on Main Street and travels east from 11th Street to Canal
