The Great Scarecrow Build-Off and Expo!! Saturday, October 7th / 9:00am – 12:00pm Towne Square will be filled with families, individuals, organizations, and businesses who are invited to showcase their scarecrow-making abilities in the Great Scarecrow Build-Off. Music during the event in the Towne Square.. All scarecrows are entered into competition for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the following categories, “City Department”, “Individual/Business” and “Downtown Businesses”, judging will occur in the afternoon.
